Singing workshops will give your singing a real boost. Sometimes the workshop subjects are not directly about singing, but they will help you sing even better indirectly. Taking part in singing workshops will boost your confidence and creativity. There will be a new class covering a different subject each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Better breathing<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

The workshop that teaches you how to breathe in a relaxed and efficient way. With better breathing you are able to sing longer phrases and your power and stamina will be better. In addition, it is important to note that through relaxed breathing your singing will relax also. This will result in less tensions and blocks. The workshop will take place in a small group and is open to anyone who wishes to improve their breathing for singing and speaking. For both clients from inside and outside my studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riffs & runs<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Riffs and runs are often heard in pop music and other musical genres, like musical theatre and jazz. Adele, Beyonce, Ariane Grande and many more singers embellish their songs with riffs to give them even more meaning. Singing riffs is tricky for many singers. You are not the only one with this problem! In this workshop you will learn how to get a handle on them. I teach you step-by-step how to take riffs apart and how to sing them yourself. This workshop is open to experienced singers who can hold a tune easily, also for those outside of my studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

introduction to sheet music<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

We often use karaoke tracks on youtube when singing at home or during lessons. And sometimes, these tracks surprise us when we do not know where the melody is going. Sometimes the lyrics are not running at the same time as the melody in the track. Sheet music helps you to be better prepared to what is coming and be able to follow the music and lyrics more easily. It also comes in handy if you want to practice more precisely. This is often the case when practicing or preparing auditions for musical theatre or for a choir. This workshop will help you if sheet music is still a great mystery to you. I will help you get to learn the structure and notes and get started in using sheet music. This workshop is open to everybody and will help you sing even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

adjusting the key of the music \/ transpose<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Is the key of your favourite song not very comfortable to sing? Would you like to be able to adjust the key, so you can sing it well? Then this workshop is for you! I teach you the system to transpose the key of the song into one that suits your voice better. This workshop is open to singers with some prior knowledge of sheet music and music notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

singing live with musicians<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

A series of weekly workshops which deals with a different aspect of singing live each week: microphone handling, communication with the musicians, stage fright and lots of practicing together. The series will end with a live concert to which you can invite your family and friends. This workshop is open to all singers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A workshop that digs deeper into the lyrics of a song. We worked on the structure of songs, how to work with dynamics, melodies and rhythms. We worked with a small group on the 25th of september.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
