Hi! I'm Laura! I have loved music and singing as long as I can remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite my love for singing, I only started taking singing lessons later in life: for relaxation after work when I worked in Shanghai, China. I loved it! Shanghai has a thriving jazz scene and the jazz virus got me too. Through the music school where I studied, I came into contact with jazz musicians and I soon performed with various jazz ensembles at events, in jazz clubs and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After moving to Germany, I studied Jazz and Contemporary Music\u00a0at the Freies Musikzentrum\u2019s Jazz Projekt in Munich. I sang at the famous Unterfahrt Jazzclub and sang at various other venues with my band Jazz Preferred in and around Munich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After a few years I moved to Zurich, Switzerland and sang Brazilian and Cuban songs with my Latin Trio Muladillo. I also sang with my jazz band Red Velvet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    While living in Switzerland, I started training as a singing teacher at the internationally renowned Institute of Vocal Advancement (IVA) and also started teaching singing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I have been living in the Netherlands again for a few years now: in the beautiful city of Breda. And I still enjoy teaching voice lessons, because sharing your passion for music and singing with others is of course a nice thing to do. Especially hearing how you can help other singers to sing even better and get the best out of themselves. That's my motivation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
